I started learning to drive when I was 17. I found getting to grips with driving very difficult, having started and stopped my lessons over a period of 4 years and changed instructors on several occasions. I gave up on the thought of passing my test and decided to concentrate on studying instead as I felt learning to drive was a waste of money. After taking a break from driving for a couple of years it became clear that the ability to drive was fundamental to my chosen career. Jarvis was recommended through a family friend. Lessons with Jarvis were fantastic not only did he help me to relax behind the wheel by being a friend but he also helped me to develop the right attitude to be a safe driver on the road. I felt for the first time challenged to keep up with my lessons and motivated not to give up. I have now passed my test, people think I have been driving for a long time when they get in my car. I have to explain to them that I have only had my licence for a short period but had an amazing teacher that taught me to drive to a very high standard.

Thanks again Javis, you've been a great teacher! I was extremely nervous before starting my driving lessons at the age of 18, but the friendly, sensitive approach from Javis made my first and subsequent lessons very enjoyable! Thank you Heartlands. When I started my driving lessons with Javis, my driving came on leaps and bounds, Javis was recommended to me by my friend who was having lessons with him as I had had two previous instructors but I was not happy with the progress I was making. My friend suggested I try Heartlands for a couple of lessons and see how I got on and I was very impressed. I find Javis to be calm, patient, reliable and thanks to him I have finally passed my driving test.
